Additional Donor Information:

This Treg population is obtained by ex vivo expansion of nTreg (Tregs isolated directly from blood). The expanded nTregs show the classical regulatory T cell phenotype, i.e., CD4+, CD25hi, and CD127-. In addition, the majority of the cells show intracellular expression of FoxP3 and surface expression of TIGIT. These nTregs also have the capacity to suppress in vitro T cell proliferation (e.g., anti-CD3 driven or MLR).

Donor is 6′ 1″ and weighs 250 lbs. He is FcgRIIIa F/F

About Natural T Regulatory Cells

Natural T regulatory cells (nTregs) are a subset of T cells capable of suppressing the activation and expansion of other T cells. nTregs develop in the thymus, while the more commonly used induced Tregs (iTregs) are differentiated in the lab. Our nTregs express the most widely accepted phenotype for Tregs with a co-expression of CD4 and CD25 with additional intracellular expression of FoxP3 and absence of CD127.
