Key Biologics (A Cellero Company) is open and maintaining normal operations. To ensure that we can maintain normal operations as the spread of COVID-19 continues, we have activated our business continuity plans. Our management teams are focused on overseeing our response to the evolving situation.
COVID-19 has not impacted Key Biologics’ ability to deliver any services at this time. We are continuing to run full operations on a normal shift schedule and are delivering services to customers with customary turn-around times.
The measures that Key Biologics is taking to ensure the safety of our employees and the continued supply of services to our customers include:
- Internally, we have implemented a series of Level 1 precautions to protect our staff and have established contingency plans to address situations where one or more employees are affected by the virus. Such precautionary measures include providing information and regular updates regarding COVID-19 and proper hygiene techniques to all employees, restricting visitor access to and movement within our facility, implementing enhanced daily cleaning procedures, providing employees with access to cleaning and disinfecting supplies, minimizing company gatherings and unnecessary contact between employees and encouraging social distancing of all personnel.
- We are prohibiting employees to travel to all countries with a Level 3 travel warning from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and discouraging all non-essential international travel at this time.
- We are cross-training employees to help maintain business operations in the event of decreased employee availability.
- We are following CDC guidance to institute training and preventative measures to reduce the chance of infection in the workplace, including having certain non-essential employees work from home.
