We have wrapped up another successful year at SLAS2019. Our Director of Business Development, Ponni Anand, and I just returned, feeling energized and optimistic about this coming year. We enjoyed exchanging ideas and learning about different methods and techniques with researchers and technologists from different parts of the world.
For the third year in a row, we were excited to see traction in 2D and 3D cell-based assays as they continue to empower innovation in systems that use cells to reveal new targets and drugs.
Innovations and Celebration
Of the 300 companies that showcased products and services in the SLAS2019 Exhibition, 56 new product entries were received. Knowing it was a difficult decision for judging panel to pick only three products, we would like to properly recognize the 2019 New Product Award winners.
Andrew+, the pipetting robot – Andrew Alliance
ExoView™ – NanoView Biosciences
Opal Chip™ – Stilla Technologies
The ExoView™ platform is of special interest to us as it allows for us to analyze exosomes through high-resolution sizing, counting, and phenotyping at a single particle level. This is a big advancement for our clients and research as exosomes provide another way for cells to communicate through DNA and other small pieces of cells. Keep an eye out for the addition of exosomes to our product line in the fall of 2019.
Advancing Research in 2019
SLAS2019 gives us the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals diving full force into discovery and technology. Even though we had an inspiring week, we would love to hear your ideas on how we can enhance our product line or support your 2019 research innovations. We are always looking for ways to help you get on with discovery.
